Celebrating the Future of Engineering: BEMA & Swatpro Apprentice Awards Evening 2025
At the partnership of BEMA and Swatpro, we believe in developing the next generation of engineers through our comprehensive training programs at the BEMA Centre in Yate, near Bristol.
On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, BEMA and Swatpro will come together to host a special evening to celebrate the achievements of our apprentices. The Awards Evening will be held at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, a historic venue that provides the perfect setting for recognising young talent in engineering.
This event is dedicated to apprentices and their sponsoring companies. It’s a chance for industry professionals to honour those who started their journeys in September 2024 and those who have recently completed their apprenticeships.
The British Engineering Manufacturers' Association (BEMA), established in 1936, has always aimed to support industry growth through mutual help, expert consultancy, and targeted training. Today, BEMA operates as the largest engineering trade association in the South West of England, with members spanning from Worcestershire to Cornwall and beyond. Their dedicated training centre helps bridge the skills gap by recruiting and training apprentices, graduates, and the existing workforce.
The partnership between BEMA and Swatpro (who deliver the apprenticeships at BEMA training facilities) underscores a shared commitment to nurturing engineering talent and addressing the industry’s critical shortfall of qualified engineers. The upcoming awards evening is more than just a celebration; it’s a testament to the hard work of apprentices and the ongoing efforts to strengthen the engineering industry for the future.
