£30,000 - £33,000 per annum + Benefits

Thomson Aero Ltd is a medium sized Aerospace Engineering Company operating in Frome, Somerset. The business manufactures a range of components for the aerospace, defence and commercial sectors.

A vacancy has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer. Working within a small engineering team, you will work closely with production to produce effective CNC programmes for a wide range of machine tools, specifically multi-axis milling machines.
You will be fully conversant with CAD CAM generation and experienced in producing standard operating procedures. You will also have hands on experience of operating CNC machines, as a practical understanding is key to this role.
You will be forward thinking and keen to implement technical advances in order optimise performance.
Experience of working within the Aerospace Industry would be advantageous, as would a proven ability to work with exotic (hard) materials to tight tolerances.
