Whilst visiting a member recently David Dye was given the opportunity to fore fill a life long ambition which was to ride on the plate of a steam train. The reason for the visit was to review some of the processes and procedures that the company has in place with relation to employees. Initially the meetings agenda was to review the procedures in place and then take a look at some of the processes that the employees undertake and of course when the opportunity came to ride on the plate David jumped at the chance.
David managed to take some photographs and footage of the trip which can be seen below. David would also like to take this opportunity to thank Humphrey Davis (Driver and also Chairman), Paul Conibeare (General Manager) and David Hall (Fireman).
